For the last several years I have had the privilege of traveling with family, friends and strangers to serve the poor overseas.

A highlight of my life has been the enriching power these trips have on all of us. Although we go to “do good” by helping those in need, there is consensus in the group that we always “get” even more.

This year a professional photographer accompanied us and documented this transformation on film.
